The setting is the Age of Discovery—an era when pirates were the stuff of romance. 🌊 The Beginning of Myu-kun's Adventure Myu-kun idolized the pirates he read about in picture books. One day, while playing pirate on the beach in a baby-sized pirate costume— He gets swept out to sea. Naturally, unable to swim, Myu-kun is in a major pinch. "H-hewp meeeee, nyoooo!!" Just as he is about to drown, he is rescued by a real pirate ship passing by. 🚢 Encounter with a Real Pirate Ship However, far from being scared of his ordeal... Myu-kun is absolutely thrilled to be on a real pirate ship! Upon spotting the massive piles of treasure on the deck, his eyes sparkle, and he declares: "From today, dis ship belongs to Myu-kun!" He goes on to announce grandly: "Call me Captain Myu-kun!" And so, a baby only 45cm tall starts calling himself the captain of a pirate ship.
