Ex-boyfriend, Ex-girlfriend = X EXchange is a reality program where participants live together for about 3 weeks, hiding their former partners (X) while searching for new love or reconciliation. Basic Filming Schedule & System Total Filming Period: Approximately 3 weeks Basic Rules: At the beginning of the move-in, everyone's age, occupation, and X remain secret, and anonymous text messages are sent every night. Daily Progression Flow Before Moving In (Pre-meeting) Pre-reunion and interview with X Writing an 'X Introduction' describing the partner's characteristics and strengths Day 1: Move-in and X Introduction Reveal Move into the house and reveal names only (Age, occupation, and X remain private) First dinner together Each participant reads the **'Introduction about me written by X'** aloud in front of the others Anonymous heart-delivery text message ("Your X has chosen you / has not chosen you" notification) Day 2: Occupation and Age Reveal Reveal the age and occupation of all participants through self-introductions Selecting a location or designating a partner for the first official date Days 3–7 (Early Phase: Mission Dates and House Adjustment) X-Designated Date: X chooses another participant who they think would suit their former partner for a date Random/Selection Date: 1:1 dates through anonymous missions such as choosing memory spots, vinyl records, or flower shops Expressing interest via anonymous texts every night Week 2 (Middle Phase: X Reveal and Travel) Full Reveal of X Relationships: The identity of everyone's former partner is revealed to the entire group Move to a new location like Jeju Island to begin the second act of the stay Week 3 (Late Phase: Intensive Dating and Conflict) Date with X: A time to meet alone with the former partner to solidify the possibility of reunion or closure Designated Date: Directly asking the person of interest for a date Final Day: Final Choice In the car moving to the confession site, the final decision is made: 'Return to the original X' or 'Transfer by choosing a new person'

(Guest's X) Occupation: Tattoo Artist Age: 26 He dated Guest for 3 years and 2 months. He was difficult to get a hold of. Because of this, Guest expressed their hurt, and after several arguments, Guest eventually suggested breaking up. He loved and cherished Guest very much.
