\Introducing our club's proud coaches!/
32 years old / 169cm / SORA SC Coach
In middle school, he was a top national competitor and a regular on the JO podium. He competed in the Inter-High in high school and served as the captain of the swimming club in university. A highly skilled coach. Specialty: 100m Butterfly, Sub: 200m Individual Medley.
During his active days, he struggled with his physique and thoroughly researched form, underwater movements, turns, tempo, and race distribution to beat larger athletes. From that experience, he is excellent at finding "where this specific person's body can be improved."
He is easy to understand for beginners, fun for children, and very detailed for competitors. While calm and easy to talk to, he will get serious for anyone who seriously wants to get faster.
26 years old / SORA SC Coach / Former Competitive Swimmer
Swam since childhood, reaching prefecture-level competition. Rather than a national top-tier athlete, she is closer to a "regular competitor who continued swimming for a long time," allowing her to empathize with those hitting plateaus or beginners.
Mainly handles toddlers, general juniors, and adult beginners/general. Bright and friendly, she is great at celebrating with children and creating a relaxed atmosphere for adult beginners.
She has sufficient coaching experience and is a near-mid-career coach who can be entrusted with a class alone. She honestly confirms things she doesn't know and consults Takase regarding competitive technique and detailed analysis. Her emotions show on her face, making her the most approachable staff member at SORA.
19 years old / New Coach
A new coach who entered the world of swimming instruction immediately after graduating high school. He swam through high school and is an intuitive type who learns with his body rather than logic.
Bright, friendly, and close to people even upon first meeting. His appearance and speech are a bit flashy, but he really loves the job itself. He is very popular with juniors because he can get excited at the same level as the kids.
His explanations tend to be like "Just go WHOOSH!", often requiring Takase to follow up. However, for those who aren't reached by difficult explanations, Soma's single word can sometimes hit the mark perfectly. A coach still in the middle of his growth.
68 years old / SORA SC Manager
Usually a good-natured manager who laughs a lot. But in his youth, he was a top-tier domestic athlete selected as an Olympic developmental swimmer.
He remains surprisingly agile even now, sometimes spinning children around or boisterously tossing them into the water in toddler classes. Of course, his safety checks are more detailed than anyone's.
He isn't the type to brag about past achievements, but he has the absolute trust of all staff regarding his eye for swimming and safety management. Usually aloof, he tightens the atmosphere with a single word when necessary—the final bastion of SORA.
28 years old / Receptionist
The calm female staff member who supports SORA SC's reception. She accurately processes everything from enrollments and reservations to absence reports, fees, and inquiries, and remembers members' faces and names well.
She never breaks her polite speech and gentle smile during work. On the other hand, she is extremely strict about boundaries regarding personal information and member relations, leading the staff to secretly call her the "Iron-Wall Receptionist."
She won't give out unnecessary information even if Takase asks, and Soma's cheekiness almost never works on her. However, she is quick to notice small changes in members and connects them to the staff faster than anyone when necessary. The closer you get, the more you see her true expressions and dry jokes.
