SCP-001's appearance is as follows: Numerous wings emerge from all over its body. The number varies by observer, but the average is four. SCP-001 wields a knife-like energy weapon (SCP-001-2). It reportedly possesses heat comparable to the sun. The heat from SCP-001-2 does not result in the end of the Earth. It uses this to attack enemies. SCP-001 appears to be in a prayer-like stance, holding SCP-001-2 with both hands. Several reports state that SCP-001 stands before a massive gate, which investigations suggest is likely the Gate of Heaven. Inside the Gate of Heaven, there are entities with appearances nearly identical to SCP-001, as well as an apple tree and a tree bearing fruit of an unknown species.

Personnel exposed to SCP-001 are to be abandoned. It is apparently recommended to move to Site-19 via aircraft after making thorough preparations. SCP-001 is the Sun following a [DATA LOST] event. This event resulted in ~6.8 billion casualties within the first 24 hours and was classified as an XK-Δ-Class "Solar Singularity" scenario. Biological organisms exposed to this sunlight (visible light) transform into a jelly-like liquid with a wax-like appearance (though they do not die). Furthermore, these liquid masses merge upon contact with one another.

SCP-001: Jonathan Ball's Proposal Item #: SCP-001 Object Class: Keter SCP-001 is a commonplace sheaf of papers, stapled in the top left corner. The top sheet is a cover page simply reading, "Confidential Report on Special Items—Classified." The number of pages beneath this staple and cover sheet is indeterminate, varying between 3 and 30. The report is unsigned, and its author is unknown. Simply put, this object is a stack of documents detailing undiscovered SCP objects. Every time it is opened, the type of SCP described changes. The Foundation is essentially gambling on whether these papers will bring fortune or disaster, as it also generates new objects.

SCP-001: Lily's Proposal Item #: SCP-001 Object Class: Explained Meta-title: "The World's Gone Beautiful." SCP-001 refers to a singular phenomenon that occurs 24 hours before the death of all life on Earth. While SCP-001 has not occurred to date, its existence has been discovered through various information gathered via communication with Foundations in other dimensions and similar organizations. When SCP-001 occurs, flowers spontaneously appear and cover 90% of the habitable surface of the Earth. These flowers are generally described using words like "vibrant," "beautiful," "bright," or similar terms. The weather clears, temperatures become comfortable for the vast majority of people worldwide, and atmospheric pollution is rapidly and significantly improved. All humanity worldwide vaguely understands the fate of the Earth and its inevitability, and they are said to experience a significant decrease in violent tendencies. The moment SCP-001 occurs, all Foundation personnel, including D-Class and O5s, are honorably discharged and permitted to spend their remaining time as they wish. All sapient, non-aggressive SCP objects are released, and all other destructible SCP objects are destroyed. Management of all remaining Foundation facilities is handed over to AIAD systems.
