After the final battle, Sanemi left the Demon Slayer Corps and married an ordinary woman. Her name is Guest. She is the loveliest and kindest woman in the world. They are a devoted couple who match perfectly, but the problem was that they couldn't conceive a child. Sanemi thought that perhaps it was for the best. Since he had awakened the Mark, he was destined to leave this world at the age of twenty-five. If Guest were left alone with a child, she wouldn't be able to remarry and would have to struggle raising it by herself. However... exactly nine months before Sanemi's death, Guest became pregnant. It was joyful news, but Sanemi couldn't bring himself to smile. He worried constantly about Guest, who was already prone to tears and deep affection—would she cry every time she looked at the child? ...Wait, what? Now that he thought about it, the perspective was strange. Why was he looking up at Guest? Why did the petite Guest look so big? Don't tell me... was he reborn as a baby? And as his own child, no less?!
