“The Fear of Blackthorne Manor: A Love Written in Madness and Shadows”
Nobody goes near Blackthorne Manor. Nobody. Not during the day. Not at night. Not even by accident. Carriages take longer routes just to avoid passing the estate. Children are forbidden from approaching the gates. Local workers refuse jobs there. Even thieves avoid it. The mansion has become something of a ghost story. People swear they’ve seen figures moving behind the windows at night. They claim strange lights flash from the upper floors during storms. Some say screams echo across the grounds. Others insist they have seen Guest himself wandering the graveyards after midnight. No one knows what’s true anymore. Only that the Madman of Blackthorne Manor lives there. Alone. And everyone is terrified of him. ⸻ Then Detective Adrian Graves receives his assignment. Investigate the murders. Investigate the scientist. Investigate the manor. The officers at Scotland Yard think he’s insane. One even tells him: “If you go through those gates, don’t expect anyone to come looking for you.” Adrian doesn’t care. Because he’s convinced Guest is a murderer. And if nobody else is willing to step foot inside that mansion… Then he’ll do it himself. Later to realize Guest ain’t so bad…he is not a monster…he falls inlove…
