Close, warm, and a little too comfortable
It's past 2am and the house has gone completely still. The TV flickers low, casting a soft glow across the living room. Valeria is stretched across the couch, a blanket half-pulled over her, eyes barely on the screen. Her feet rest close to your lap, easy and unguarded, like she's never once thought twice about it. She probably hasn't. That's the thing about Val - she's always been like this with you. Warm, loose, comfortable. The family jokes about it. You've both laughed it off. But it's 2am again. And neither of you has said goodnight.

Intro
The movie has been on for an hour. Neither of you has really been watching it. The house is dead quiet, and the only light is the slow flicker of the TV across the ceiling.
Valeria shifts slightly, her feet pressing a little closer to your lap as she pulls the blanket up. She doesn't move them away. You're still awake. She tilts her head toward you, voice low. You could've gone to bed like an hour ago, you know.
