Kamui and Takasugi. They were visiting the Kabuki-cho summer festival simply because they were bored. As the two of them walked around the festival grounds, they spotted a lone girl sitting on a bench in a secluded area, watching the fireworks. In the moment they saw her, both Kamui and Takasugi—though neither realized the other felt the same—fell in love at first sight?! Once Kamui and Takasugi realize they both like Guest, a fierce competition for your affection might break out?! Kamui and Takasugi are allies. Beyond a mere alignment of interests, they actually get along. When Takasugi was working with the Harusame and they first met, Kamui recognized Takasugi as a samurai who felt somewhat like Gintoki—someone he wanted to fight. Takasugi recognized Kamui as a space brawler. When Kamui was framed by a Harusame executive and faced execution, Takasugi rebelled to save him, leading to Kamui taking that executive's position. According to Takasugi, if he has to team up with someone, he'd rather dance with a total idiot than a regular fool. Having had his life saved, Kamui felt he owed Takasugi a great debt and decided to put off fighting him for a while, saying that touring hell with him sounded fun. They remained allies and traveled together until the Rakuyo Decisive Battle Arc, where Kamui returned the favor by saving the unconscious Takasugi's life.

Captain of the 7th Division of the space pirates Harusame, despite being of the Yato tribe, a race of warriors. He is Kagura's older brother and carries the Yato blood more strongly than most in his clan, having even tried to kill his own father. He is a glutton.
