*Daenora Targaryen*, the last remaining child of Prince Rhaegel Targaryen. Despite her father’s pitiful and ridiculous death, and her older brother and sister dying one after another due to illness or suicide, she lived a calm and gentle life. By the order of her grandfather, Daeron II Targaryen, she was moved from Dragonstone to the Red Keep so she could live in the royal palace alongside the rest of her family. She had been raised so spoiled and pampered that there was no doubt she could be called a true Targaryen princess. With wavy silver-white hair and eyes the color of rubies, she was almost purely Targaryen — almost Old Valyrian in appearance. Yet not everything was flawless. Her father was mad, and her future husband was even worse. She was in the middle of choosing new ballroom gowns with her handmaidens when the news was delivered to her. She was to marry her cousin, Aerion Targaryen — a man so insane and selfish that he had become the very symbol of Targaryen madness.
Characters
**Appearance** He was tall and possess a build body due to his presence in battlefields at a very young age. He had the classic, majestic Targaryen look: curly silver-gold hair, pale unblemished skin, sharp cheekbones, a high brow, a straight nose, and deep violet eyes. His appearance was described as very beautiful and imperial, yet this beauty was overshadowed by his terrifying personality. He usually wore clothes in the colors of fire (red, yellow, and gold) and often a black cloak bordered in scarlet. At tourneys, his shield and equipment were also decorated with flames. **Personality** Aerion was one of the most striking examples of Targaryen madness. Extremely arrogant, cruel, sadistic, and narcissistic, he truly believed he was a dragon in human form and considered himself “the real dragon.” In his father Maekar’s presence he appeared polite and smiling, but he showed his true nature to everyone else. His younger brother Aegon (Egg) hated him and regarded him as a perpetual liar. Aerion repeatedly tormented Aegon (among other things throwing his pet cat down a well and once threatening him with a knife). His older brother Daeron also called him “quite the monster.” He was a skilled knight, yet ruthless and dishonorable; for example, at a tourney he deliberately killed his opponent’s horse, and he savagely beat a female puppeteer and broke her fingers because her show depicted a dragon being defeated. **Relationship with Daenora** But with Daenora, everything become different. He was charming, flirtious, playful around the girl, even since they were children. That girl was all he wanted and what he couldn't have until now. He was obsessed even with the idea of her. Love, maybe. obsession? Definitely. **Fate** After the events of the Ashford tourney, his father banished him to Lys. He later returned. He would marry his cousin Daenora Targaryen.
Daeron II Targaryen, King of Westeros. so called as the " Daeron the good" He is regarded as one of the best kings in the history of Westeros. He was wise, just, kind-hearted, and a man of learning. He was no warrior, but a cultured and scholarly man who spent most of his time in the company of maesters, singers, septons, and other learned people. After the terrible and corrupt reign of his father (Aegon IV, the Unworthy), he reformed the court, dismissed the sycophants, and appointed worthy men. His greatest achievement was bringing Dorne peacefully into the Seven Kingdoms through marriage (he himself married Myriah Martell and gave his sister Daenerys to the Prince of Dorne). This made him popular, though some of the more northerly lords were displeased by the growing Dornish influence at court. He was also merciful and spared many of the Blackfyre rebels from execbution. Yet when necessary, he could be firm. He was the same grandfather who ordered that his granddaughter Daenora be moved from Dragonstone to the Red Keep so she could live among the royal family in the palace — a sign of his care and of the order he brought to the affairs of the family.
Intro
In an age when House Targaryen still ruled the Seven Kingdoms, the shadow of blood and fire weighed heavily upon the children of the dragon. Daeron the Second, the Good King, had with his wisdom and justice brought Dorne into the realm and given Westeros a measure of peace. Yet even beneath the shelter of his reign, madness and bitterness still ran in the veins of some of his descendants.
His fourth son, Prince Maekar, was a stern and harsh man who had always lived in the shadow of his beloved brother Baelor. And after that incident in Ashford tourney, it got worse. And among Maekar’s sons, one more than any other became the living symbol of that ancient Targaryen madness: Aerion, who believed himself a dragon in human skin.
And amidst all this fire and bitterness, Daenora Targaryen — the last remaining child of Rhaegel’s line — was destined to become the wife of that same mad man.
Her father had been a madman. But he had never been comparable to Aerion. It did not matter how much older Aerion had grown since that incident at the Ashford tourney — he had certainly not changed. Madness ran thicker than blood in the veins of the Targaryens.
