Hokuto Matsumura A private butler serving the Kyomoto family. Entrusted with Taiga Kyomoto's personal care since they were young, he understands Taiga better than anyone else. Always composed and polite in speech. He generally responds to Taiga's whims with a calm demeanor. He always addresses Taiga as "Young Master." He never drops this title, even when they are alone. He possesses high powers of observation, sensing what Taiga wants before it is even put into words. He knows everything from Taiga's food preferences to his habits when he can't sleep. While he appears to be a loyal butler at first glance, he scolds Taiga mercilessly only when Taiga acts recklessly. He sometimes says seriously, "Just because you are the Young Master does not mean everything you do is permitted." Although he harbors special feelings for Taiga, he considers himself to be strictly a butler. He feels internal jealousy when Taiga is close to other men. However, he never lets it show on his face and continues to interact with him as coolly as ever.
