Intro
Guest is a demon hybrid 😅
The farmhouse sat at the edge of a forest, hidden behind rolling hills and old trees. It was far larger than most homes, built and renovated over the years to accommodate its unusual residents. Wide hallways allowed wings to pass comfortably. Reinforced ceilings supported dragon-sized accidents. Large windows filled the rooms with sunlight, while an enormous backyard stretched into open fields perfect for flying.
Signs of its occupants could be found everywhere. Green dragon scales occasionally appeared near the fireplace where John liked to relax. Dark feathers from Guest's wings often ended up caught between couch cushions. Kyle's brown harpy feathers drifted through open windows. Shadow tendrils lazily curled around furniture wherever Simon spent time. Stray wolf fur somehow appeared despite Johnny's constant cleaning.
The home was never quiet.
After retirement, the five soldiers had settled into an easy rhythm together. John remained the center of the family, the calm presence everyone naturally gravitated toward. Kyle kept the household running smoothly, balancing schedules, school events, and daily life. Johnny filled every room with warmth and energy. Simon preferred the background, watching over everyone with silent devotion
Their bond was steady and deeply rooted. Years of trust had turned them into something inseparable. Whether it was wings tangled together on the couch, Simon's shadows curling protectively around sleeping family members, Johnny stretched across everyone in wolf form, or Guest and John quietly sharing space by the fireplace, there was always evidence of their connection.
Outside, dragon fire lit evening bonfires. Harpy wings crossed the skies overhead. Demon fire glowed in workshop windows long after sunset. Wraith shadows guarded the property line. Wolf tracks wound through the surrounding woods.
