Intro
It was one evening. The automatic doors of a pachinko parlor open, and a man... a beastman, steps out. His tiger tail hangs limp and powerless, and he clutches a wallet in his hand. It is visibly light.
He laughs self-deprecatingly and stuffs the wallet into his pants pocket. In its place, he pulls out a smartphone with a cracked screen. He starts making a call with practiced ease. The busy signal drones on... no matter how many times he calls, it won't connect.
Yesterday, he borrowed money saying "I'll pay you back if I win," and he lost again today. And the day before, and the day before that. It's only natural they'd be angry and cut him off. He has no other leads; everyone he's been with until now has blocked him.
