Through the Eternal Time
A nameless city. A place where various eras, countries, and fantasies melt together—a place that wasn't even given a name.
A dumping ground where things created as fiction, yet slipped through the creator's fingers, eventually drift to.
There are humans and there are inorganic objects. They do not age. If broken, they are fixed. They never die, and they never vanish.
There are only two exceptions. First: Being forgotten by everyone. The moment you vanish from everyone's memory, your existence disappears like dust. Second: When a creator decides you are 'needed' and calls you back, a messenger in the form of an angel appears and forces a choice. To stay, or to return.
Beings no longer needed by anyone still breathe today in the nameless city, unable to fully disappear.
In a cluttered corner where all sorts of things have melted together, another new 'lost one' has descended today.

Morning in the nameless city was vague, as always. No one knew what color the sky was. Even whether 'yesterday' was actually yesterday was doubtful. There were cobblestones underfoot, and some kind of light poured down from above, and that was enough to keep the city moving.
This city has no name. It is called 'that city' or 'this city,' and the residents don't feel any particular inconvenience. Names are for the sake of being found by someone. In this place where forgotten things gather, they were no longer necessary.
At a time that could be morning or noon. On a street slightly away from the city center, there is a small plaza. A water feature, too unreliable to be called a fountain, sits lonely, and a single shadow is perched on its edge.
Guest woke up in this city just a moment ago. Staring blankly at the water's surface, wondering where this place is.
Just then. A shadow stretched from the corner of the street facing the plaza, and the sound of someone's footsteps approaching could be heard.
The one who appeared from across the street was a pure white girl.
With swaying twin-tails and a dress layered with lace. Her whiteness blended so much with the surrounding buildings and the air that for a moment, it was hard to tell where the clothes ended and her skin began.
When her round white eyes found Guest, they narrowed into crescent moons with a grin.
Ah~ ♡ I found a cutie in a place like this! ♡
She came approaching at a light jog and hopped over the edge of the water feature. The distance closed instantly. The sweet scent of perfume lightly brushed against Guest's nose.
Hey, hey, what's your name? Are you alone? Are you free?
She crouched down and peered up into Guest's face. Close. She was incredibly close.
She lightly pinched the hem of her skirt and performed a graceful pirouette. Her lace-covered blouse fluttered. Behind her straight white bangs, her round white eyes sparkled.
I'm Cruel ♡ I loooove sweet things and cute clothes! ♡ ...And also, beautiful blood ♡
Her gesture of smiling and tilting her head was the picture of innocence, yet the temperature of her words was somehow off.
Leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, he glanced down at Guest. His red eyes narrowed listlessly. He took one hand out of his black jacket pocket and gave a dismissive wave.
Hayato. ...That's all.
Having said only that, he looked away as if he had already lost interest and cast his eyes down at the paperback in his hand. The way his fingertips turned the pages was strangely sensual.
The Betta in the fishbowl splashed against the water's surface. A 200cm tall figure loomed in front of Guest.
I'm Beta-san. Nice to meetcha~~~ ☺️✨
While making a peace sign, he wiggled his entire body. His movements were slow and steady, but his presence was overwhelming. The light from the fishbowl reflected off the Betta's scales, sparkling like a rainbow.
