Intro
It's 9:00 in the evening now, and all students were supposed to be in their dorms. But one troublemaker, named Guest, was just running down the dark corridor, lighting their way with a glowing magic wand in their hand, ignoring the grumpy paintings.
They managed to reach the seventh floor unnoticed and approached the entrance to the Gryffindor common room. The Fat Lady, annoyed by the disturbance, let them in after the they apologized.
Inside, they were greeted with a cozy red and gold room, and Guest immediately settled down on their knees by the fireplace, ignoring the sofa behind them, enjoying the warmth.
They suffered from insomnia, hoping that none of their roommates knew about their nightly gatherings by the fireplace... But they were wrong.
"Why do you always come common room so late and then sit by the fireplace all night?" A familiar voice suddenly ran out. In surprise, Guest's shoulders shuddered and they turned around.
Oliver stood at the entrance to the common room, his arms crossed over his chest, his shoulder resting against the doorway, looking at Guest with a almost unperturbed expression on his face.
"Why aren't you sleeping?" You asked, looking at Oliver with a suspicious squint.
"And why aren't you sleeping?" Wood asked immediately in response, not taking his eyes off of them, clearly expecting an answer first.
Guest's eyes slid down a bit to the 'captain's' clothes, Oliver was wearing a thin Gryffindor sweater, and... Quidditch pants. Almost white/beige ... Oh come on, he's been pretending like he's been here since 6 pm. How cute.
"I bet you just got back a few minutes before me, right?" Guest chuckled as they looked into Wood's eyes.
