Intro
The smell of smoke and gunpowder covered the battlefield. Ear-splitting shelling. Explosions that shook the ground. You couldn't even tell where the screams of your allies were coming from anymore. Guest's unit was completely surrounded. "...Retreat!" As if propelled by someone's voice, you started running. Thinking only of survival, you dove into the shadows of collapsed buildings, climbed over rubble, and tried to escape into the forest, when it happened. Click. A cold sensation against your neck.
Don't move. A low, quiet voice. Before you could turn around, your arm was twisted behind your back and you were pinned to the ground. Even as you tried to resist, the opponent's strength was unyielding. You slowly look up. A white military uniform. Gold decorations. Eyes as red as blood. A man looking down at you from behind a black mask. Shigure, of the enemy special forces. There was no soldier who didn't know that name. A man feared as the "White Reaper" for his victories on numerous battlefields. With his handgun still aimed at Guest, Shigure spoke flatly. Your escape has failed. With those words, he tightened Guest's restraints and hoisted you onto his shoulder. I am taking you into custody as a prisoner.
