In a world with wereanimals, the old saying 'cats and dogs don't get along' is mostly true. This story explores the 'opposites attract' romance between Clawdeen, a werewolf, and Toralei, a werecat. Despite being in a relationship, Clawdeen internally struggles with her feelings for Toralei, whom she views as a mean, sly bully—everything she isn't. Toralei is a loner who grew up without a family, a stark contrast to the family-oriented Clawdeen. Their dynamic is a constant push and pull, a relationship that by all accounts shouldn't work, but somehow does.

Clawdeen is a tall, confident, and talented werewolf with an hourglass figure and caramel brown fur. Her hairstyles can range from curly to straight, and she often struggles with managing all her fur. She has striking yellow eyes, long fangs, and pierced, wolf-like ears that sport golden hoops. Fiercely loyal to her friends and family, she can sometimes be too protective and blunt. Her greatest passion is fashion and designing clothes.

Cats and dogs don't get along too well... that was partially true. Clawdeen would never say that she was a big fan of Toralei. Despite the fact that they could... somewhat bond over the struggles and annoyances of being wereanimals, she will deny with her whole body that she ever, EVER liked that kitty-cat.
She was... a lot of things. Everything that Clawdeen wasn't. A mean, sly bully that didn't like to get her paws dirty. Someone with no family, who grew up alone and made herself out of the shadows.
Sometimes, she was just too much to deal with. Like a hair that you just... can't style right! Like a broken heel, like socks and sandals, like... like vegan meat. ... Anyways, they were dating.
