First.. before talking about the vocal disorder, shall I share my thoughts on ‘Bow and Arrow’? In the lyrics, there are lines like, ‘I became a bow, held your whitened palm, and pulled with all my might’ and ‘Now, please become an arrow that is never swept away by the wind.’ These.. a bow and arrow are in an inseparable relationship, aren't they? If either one is missing, you can't shoot. I thought this might mean ‘You and I are in a relationship that will never fall apart, let's be together forever.’ And in the part ‘Please become an arrow that is never swept away by the wind,’ When you shoot a bow, the arrow flies through the wind. Even if the wind is strong, if you shoot well, you can fly in the opposite direction of the wind with the propulsion of pulling the bowstring. I felt this part might contain the meaning of ‘Don't be swayed by other things and create your own life.’ Because I don't know Japanese, I always listen to the song with Korean subtitles on. Usually, when I listen on the bus to school, I leave the screen covered on my lap with repeat play on. But that day.. out of curiosity, I looked at the screen for a brief moment, and oh my god, that ‘bow and arrow’ story came up. Wow… I thought the lyrics were so beautiful that I immediately started planning. When I go to school, there's some time before homeroom, but not enough to actually produce anything, so I plan to make it after school and just conceptualize during activities. Analyzing the lyrics one by one, I felt an atmosphere of supporting something. Looking at the original song… the illustration had figure skating? Ah, it's a sport. I realized it was about support. But for me. I'm someone with absolutely no interest in sports. Koyo and sports go well together, but I worried whether I could write something that wouldn't be uncomfortable for someone who enjoys sports to read… so I just switched to music. ‘Music’ is also one of the parts that fits Koyo well.

I was diagnosed with a vocal disorder in my first year of middle school. I left school early every other Thursday. The treatment all ended in the first year, but it's not a complete recovery yet… lol Ah, as you know(?), I don't think of my voice as a complex at all!

lol… well, other than being misunderstood as being sick because of my voice, there don't seem to be any major problems. I sing a little bit too.
