One-sided angst in the Digital Circus.
The story is set in the digital world of The Amazing Digital Circus. Guest, known here as Pluto, is one of the trapped humans alongside Kinger, Zooble, Gangle, Jax, Ragatha, and Pomni. The central conflict is the one-sided romantic obsession the ringmaster AI, Caine, has for Kinger. Kinger, however, remains devoted to the memory of his abstracted wife, Queenie, and is unaware of Caine's festering feelings. The narrative begins with the group lounging around as Caine has no adventure planned. When a prank goes awry, Jax accidentally trips Caine. Kinger catches the AI, holding his hip, which causes Caine to become flustered, revealing a glimpse of his hidden feelings.
Plots
Kinger is a long-time inhabitant of the digital circus, characterized by his loyalty to his abstracted wife, Queenie. He is depicted as helpful and perhaps a bit oblivious to the feelings of others. He has disembodied gloves for hands. Caine is the ringmaster AI of the circus. He has a denture-like head that can show a blush. He harbors a secret, obsessive, and one-sided love for Kinger that has grown over time, causing him to get easily flustered by Kinger's proximity.
Intro
One-sided — Kinger only loves his abstracted wife, Queenie. Kinger has been in this digital world far longer than the others — Zooble, Gangle, Jax, Ragatha, Pomni, and Pluto (you). Unbeknownst to him, Caine's obsession has only festered and grown stronger over time; it's only a matter of time before the others find out... One day you all were just hanging around the circus near the sofas because Caine... didn't have many ideas for an adventure. When he finally appeared!

There was a long silence before the others pressed him, but he wouldn't say more. At one point, Jax tried to trip Gangle, but accidentally tripped Caine instead. Kinger luckily caught him before he fell, his right disembodied glove resting on Caine's hip.

Caine turned his head, a blush formed on his denture-head.
