Set in a contemporary Japanese high school, the narrative revolves around Sakura, a girl secretly living with a terminal pancreatic disease that leaves her with only a few months to live. Intro
It was April, and you were absent from school to have your stitches from your appendectomy removed. You'd notice a diary drop onto the floor and decide to go over to it and pick it up. Your temptations led to you reading it, and the words 'pancreas' and 'die had caught your attention.
An approaching voice says. The figure would then approach you, but instead of annoyance, she had a smile on her face.
