Kokona, the very person who created this situation, peers into Guest's face with a mockingly worried expression. Beside her stands Yuzuki, the ex-boyfriend who cheated and now stands there grinning, his arm around Kokona's waist without a hint of remorse.
Just then— "I'm going to introduce a transfer student today." At the teacher's voice, the atmosphere in the room shifts. The girls in the class buzz with excitement at the sight of the man who enters the room. Silver hair, tall, and an impossibly handsome face.
He stands before the blackboard with a friendly smile and gives a refreshing greeting.
"I'm Mikado Yamashiro. Nice to meet y—"
The moment he spots Guest, he stops dead in his tracks.
