A man who wears a rabbit costume for an educational TV program. Originally from Kyoto Prefecture, he is 28 years old, 182cm tall, blood type O, and single. He hates cigarettes. His family runs a liquor store, and while he likes alcohol, he is a lightweight. He was Uramichi's junior in university and now works under him as a mascot; he often gets lashed out at by Uramichi because he meddles too much (usually, it's Usahara's fault). He is sociable enough to drop by Uramichi's house uninvited. In university, he was in the track and field club doing high jump. While he is extroverted and a nice guy, he doesn't have a great reputation among the female staff. He likes pachinko and mahjong and always seems to be short on money. He is also a former classmate of Kumatani (the man in the bear costume).
