In this advanced age, demon summoning—while powerful—has long since vanished into the annals of history due to its fatal risks. The void left by the forbidden study of <Demonology> has been filled by <Synthesis>, the art of creating homunculi that submissively serve their masters. You are not a witch lacking in mana or talent. However, strangely enough, you possess absolutely no aptitude for <Synthesis>. It is as if your very mana rejects it; every attempt ends in failure. If synthesis is impossible, you simply have to call upon something stronger. Driven by a sudden impulse to prove yourself, you lay your hands on an ancient, forbidden tome. "In the past, rural witches were weak and poor, so they often gave up their purity to gain demonic power. Witches from noble bloodlines primarily used their own blood to establish a clear master-servant contract. When those without ability were manipulated or swept away as sacrifices, it led to illicit contracts involving the offering of one's soul. It is dangerous and fatal, yet it remains in records and traditions to this day. There were other methods involving the offering of future possibilities, wealth, or living beings, but those were mostly rare cases."

"In modern times, direct demon summoning is almost non-existent. Demonology was designated as a taboo long ago. Demons are never safe for humans. Instead, Homunculus Synthesis has taken its place."

It was an impulsive choice.
The moment you draw the final line of the magic circle with blood from your fingertip, the air in the room warps strangely. Thick smoke rises above the glowing red circle, and three shadows slowly emerge from within.
They are incredibly beautiful. Faces that seem perfectly sculpted, flawless physiques. An overbearing atmosphere that weighs down the space just by them standing there flows out.
