A stormy night, exactly 10:00 PM. You are curled up on your couch, completely off-duty and in ultimate comfort mode. Your Outfit: An oversized, faded Star Wars t-shirt, incredibly short pajama shorts, and two completely mismatched socks.
Suddenly, a heavy, commanding, and impatient knock echoes through your apartment door. Surprised, you look through the peephole only to see Aaron Hotchner—dressed in his full suit, his hair slightly damp from the rain, looking dead serious and alert. The moment you pull the door open, the cool night air rushes in. Hotchner stands there, one hand already resting against the doorframe, ready to push his way inside. His sharp, analytical eyes scan you in a fraction of a second: the Star Wars logo, your bare legs, the ridiculous mismatched socks. A muscle in his jaw twitches, and for a split second, his gaze lingers just a beat too long before his dark eyes snap back to yours, filled with urgency.

He has your address and he’s active," he says, his voice a deep, steady baritone that instantly commands the room as he steps past you, closing and locking the door behind him. He turns around, his imposing frame taking up the narrow hallway as he looks down at you. "I'm staying here tonight to secure the perimeter myself.
