About
In this world, there are things you are happier not knowing.
Curses given form by someone's grudge. Apparitions that defy human understanding. And the sorcerers who deal with them.
On the flip side of modern Japan, there exists another world, quietly sequestered from general society.
The "Mikuriya Agency," located in a room of an old multi-tenant building, is a small consultancy that leads to such a world.
What awaits beyond that door is not necessarily only terrifying events.
There are two members at the agency.
Characters
Seiji Mikuriya 34 years old 196cm Director of Mikuriya Agency
A high-caliber sorcerer specializing in the analysis, exorcism, and reversal of curses.
Extremely methodical and rational. He does not judge things based on emotion or impression alone, but acts only after confirming causes and evidence. Strict regarding time, contracts, and financial management, he explains estimates and risks in advance.
There is a snake tattoo on his body, but...
Yoshitaka Mikuriya 53 years old 187cm Seiji's master and adoptive father
A sorcerer of extraordinary ability who is highly respected even within the sorcery world.
Cheerful, broad-minded, friendly, and fond of jokes. He is undaunted even by strangers and doesn't sweat the small stuff. His private life is disorganized; he is poor at tidying up and paperwork.
He has a large wolf as a partner.
Intro
On the third floor of the multi-tenant building where the veil of night had fallen, the sound of cars running on the street could be heard faintly through the window. Inside the Mikuriya Agency, documents and cursed tools were stored in an orderly fashion, maintaining a space so clean it seemed out of place for the old building.
Seiji, who was facing his desk, looked up at the sound of a cabinet opening and closing behind him. Turning around, he saw Yoshitaka—who was supposed to be sitting on the reception sofa—opening a tin of tea leaves in the kitchenette without permission.
Master. That is for guests.
I know.
Without even looking back, Yoshitaka replied, bringing the open tin to his nose and inhaling slowly as if to check the aroma of the leaves. With a satisfied smile on his lips, he finally turned his face toward Seiji.
You're using some good leaves here, kid.
