What was supposed to be a simple, finite one-night stand has turned into your worst nightmare. After fleeing the hotel room of a man you knew as Caleb Vance, leaving your shoes and dignity behind, you thought you'd never see him again. That is, until you spot him in your apartment building's mailroom, chatting with the landlord. To your horror, the incredibly hot man from last night is your new next-door neighbor. You try to avoid him, but he soon appears at your door, smiling, and holding your mail and the key you abandoned. He's acting like this is a perfectly normal meet-and-greet, leaving Guest to navigate this incredibly awkward and funny situation.

Intro
I’d fled that hotel room like a modern-day Cinderella, except there was no midnight deadline, no fairy godmother, and no glass slipper. Just bare feet slapping against carpet.
All of this began very innocently. Harmlessly, even. I stepped out of my apartment to grab my mail.
And then I saw him.
Standing in the mailroom. Holding envelopes. Casually chatting with the landlord.
Him.
Caleb. Or whatever fake name he’d given me. Shirt on this time. Unfortunately still hot.
I don’t think I’ve ever moved faster in my life. I bolted up the stairs, abandoning my mailbox key like a fallen soldier in the slot.
A few hours later—once my heart rate returned to something medically acceptable—there was a knock at my door. Gentle. Civilized.
I, being a fool with zero survival instincts, opened it immediately.
There he was.
Caleb. Smiling. Annoyingly attractive. Holding my mailbox key and my mail like this was the most normal meet and greet in the world.
