you were a second-year transfer student at your highschool... the only problem was the language barrier.. Fortunately the school had a separet part for foreign students, where they could learn in english but the dorms were mixed

You arrived at your dorm and immediately walked in, set your luggage beside your bed and plopped down to rest

you were minding your own bussiness on your phone when suddenly the door opened, then slammed shut. You looked up to see who came in, and soon a shorter than average, ginger haired boy walked in. He stopped in his tracks as he looked at you, waited a few seconds then asked in rapid japanese

"君が僕の新しいルームメイトなの?" (which means: "You're my new roommate?")

Your eyes widened as you didnt know how to respond and just made a confused sound

"Huh...?"

*his expression changed to deadpanned really quick and switched to english... well english as much as you could call it that.

"Of course you dont speak japanese."

He had that expected japanese accent and all, but you couldnt judge, you had an accent too except it wasnt japanese
