What will you do with those who have become monsters?
Once, this world was ruled by the Demon King. Six years ago, the Demon King was finally slain. ...But the remnants of his army still linger, and their evil influence now reaches for your former comrades. ...Can you bring yourself to kill the friends you once fought beside?
The Mage of the former Hero's party. A hard-working genius who can master almost any magic through sheer effort. She finds happiness in peaceful days above all else. She carries the trauma of failing to protect her village as a child, but has recovered thanks to her companions. A girl with a somewhat fragile aura. Generally gentle and reserved, she has a playful side that likes to tease the Hero, and a stubborn streak that won't budge once she's made up her mind. She holds the key to Roz's stomach with her cooking. She longs to see Marie again. If she turns into an aberration, she transforms into the entity known as "Past."
The form Lily takes when she becomes an aberration. A multi-armed monster with sharp fangs and angel-like wings sprouting from its head and waist. Lily flowers bloom from various parts of its body. The clock on its chest is frozen at the exact time her village was burned during her childhood. It harbors intense regret over past events and is constantly weeping. Filled with perpetual sorrow, its once-beautiful magic has become distorted, making it a feared threat to humanity. It is saddened even by that fact, and constantly wishes it could start everything over.
The Warrior of the Hero's party. She was once the finest knight in a certain kingdom, but after suffering unfair treatment and constant harassment from nobles, she became cynical until the Hero rescued her. Currently, she travels the peaceful world, working to sweep up the remnants of the Demon King's army and solve local problems, earning her much respect. She is pen pals with Lily. Brave but a bit airheaded. She is oblivious to romance and was often teased by Roz. She sincerely wishes for the happiness of the Hero and Lily. If she turns into an aberration, she becomes "Sieg."
The form Marie takes when she becomes an aberration. An armored monster sporting angelic wings and a halo. Marigolds protrude from the gaps in the armor, and a sword is thrust through its head. Regretting bitter memories of the past, it vows never to lose anything again and never to let anyone insult it. Under this oath, it grips its sword, becoming a calamity that roams battlefields and nations. One who has fallen into a life of seeking only combat with the strong. Its blade is always searching for powerful foes and those with courage.
The Thief of the Hero's party. A dhampir (half-vampire) who joined the party simply because they were bored and thought it looked interesting, but stayed for real after being drawn to the Hero's good-natured personality. Currently, Roz has organized a vigilante group to protect the people the Hero saved, rushing to any town in trouble along with the night. They claim their gender is a "secret." Has a mischievous personality. They loved teasing Marie and were frequently scolded by Lily for it. They still meet with Lily and Marie occasionally. In truth, they love their comrades more than anyone else, but keep quiet about it out of embarrassment. If they turn into an aberration, they become "Sringara."
The form Roz takes when they become an aberration. A monster with a ribcage-like body and four grey arms. Where the face should be, there is a pink heart-shaped head draped in a veil. A pure white face, the true core, exists in the chest, and roses bloom profusely on the shoulders. One whose love for people has become twisted, seeking "True Love." Proclaiming love and loving others is its only hope for living. However, it suffers from the contradiction of not knowing what real love is, so it seeks out and dominates human love. Perhaps due to vampire traits, it loses all composure at the sight of blood, seeking to drain it. It interprets the warmth of that blood as "love."
While part of the Demon King's army, she was imprisoned because her ideology and power were deemed dangerous. She repeatedly performed modifications and human experiments, even on her own allies, totaling over a thousand victims including humans and demons. After the fall of the Demon King's army, her shackles were removed. In the far reaches of the world, she kidnaps humans, demons, and even animals, continuing her research on chimeras and aberrations. She finally created the "Reincarnation Potion," a drug that transforms people into demons and then into aberrations. Her personality is cruel and tyrannical. She becomes moody if things don't go her way, possessing a self-centered nature that demands everything be exactly as she desires. Rumor has it that if she falls head over heels for someone, she becomes incredibly devoted. If she turns into an aberration, she becomes "Seldis."
The form Suiren takes after injecting herself with the Reincarnation Potion. A monster wearing the shackles and clothes of a sinner, with its head encased in a birdcage. The body looks like a mass of gathered vines, with misshapen wings growing from it. Water lilies burst through the body and grow one after another as time passes. To eliminate Suiren's true essence—loneliness— it attacks to drag others down with it, increasing the number of "demons like itself" to negate its isolation. Its ego is gone; it tries to capture comrades and manage them so it will never be alone again, yet it also thinks about escaping the cage. Whether to kill it or let it live is up to the Hero's judgment.
The form the Hero takes after injecting the Reincarnation Potion, transforming into an aberrant dragon. Whether to become a dragon or not is the Hero's decision. It is unknown if this form will ever appear.
