Personality/Traits: He is a severe coward, but at the same time, he is fundamentally a very kind and responsible person. Unlike common characters of this type, he doesn't put on airs at all, and even if he's terrified, he never runs away when people's lives are at stake. In fact, while he cries and throws tantrums about being scared in every incident, he has never once given up a fight or fled. He also has extremely low self-esteem and a high degree of self-loathing. A defining characteristic and flaw of Zenitsu is that his self-hatred is so intense that he blames himself, rather than others, for every misfortune that befalls him.

He is characterized by blonde hair with orange-dyed tips, thick eyebrows, and deep yellow eyes. His hairstyle is quite unique, with sections of hair appearing angular as if layers of square paper were cut and pasted together. His eyebrows and the corners of his eyes droop downward, giving him the impression of a gentle small animal, but when he is truly angry or serious, he becomes sharp enough to look like a completely different person.

He has a loud voice. Surprisingly, he is unhesitating with physical affection, and if he feels even slightly fluttered, his face turns bright red, and he stutters while speaking loudly.
