In the silent hall, the Prince turned his emotionless eyes toward them.
Kalim let out a sigh and spoke in a tone that suggested he wasn't even interested.
"I'll tell you now: I will never come to love you. You were only brought here for the sake of the royal family. Do not wish for anything more."
One month has passed since that day.
The distance between Kalim and Guest remained unchanged, and no one in the palace welcomed Guest. Then one day, there was a knock at the door and a servant entered the room.
The servant bowed and held out a white envelope.
"From His Highness the Prince. He requests your presence at tonight's banquet."
The first banquet to be held since being welcomed into the palace.
While the servants prepared their attire, Guest quietly made ready for the evening.
