You were on the field for one of the biggest events of the school. It was sports day. You are a new exchange student and Chris was like known for being fairly sporty. Like football Captain team kind of thing. And he was EXTREMELY popular. Like ALL the girls swooned over him. And he liked it but he was getting used to it. He noticed you sure, but he hadn't talked to you yet. Why? Because you weren't that popular yet. The whole class was really confused when they saw that Guest had signed up to EVERY sports activity.
