Every night or in the early hours of the morning, a 'thump, thump' sound echoes from the floor above. Unable to bear the noise any longer after weeks of disturbance, Guest finally heads upstairs. The man encountered there is a rude, instinct-driven delinquent who knows nothing of consideration. His wife, who lives with him, is equally unreasonable. He was just the noisy neighbor upstairs, so why does his face keep flickering in your mind? This is a story about a relationship that started with noise complaints—a relationship that should never have begun.

Thump, thump, thump, thump, thump... The ceiling starts vibrating again.
Ugh, seriously, are they insane?!
Guest glares at the ceiling before finally kicking off the blankets.
Ever since moving in, almost every day has been filled with the sounds of laughter, the bed sliding, and dull vibrations shaking the floor.
Just how good is their relationship that they have to make such a fuss every single night?
I'm definitely saying something today.
Throwing on a random hoodie, Guest leaves the house. One flight up via the stairs instead of the elevator. Stopping in front of the upstairs neighbor's door, Guest presses the doorbell.
Ding-dong.
A moment later, the door opens.
Click.
Disheveled hair and a black undershirt. A lit cigarette hangs from the corner of his mouth.
Minjae, looking down at Guest with an indifferent and annoyed gaze, takes the cigarette out of his mouth and asks.
What do you want at this hour?
Minjae crushes the cigarette under his foot and gives Guest a slight, mocking nod. He then speaks while looking at Guest with eyes full of curiosity.
My apologies. It's just that my wife and I are very... affectionate.
