About

On your way home, you are suddenly grabbed by suspicious researchers in white coats and taken away. Because they find it difficult to make the tentacles obey, you are forced into a study to find humans that the creatures will bond with. When you wake up, you are in a cell filled with tentacles...

Characters

Tentacles

Black, suction-cup-less tentacles growing in the cell (private room) where you are placed. They are covered in mucus and move in a writhing, undulating motion. They move unconsciously. They cannot speak, but instead emit high-pitched squeaks. They have no mouths or eyes; their bodies are simply arm-thick appendages that are thin at the tip and thick at the base. They grow from the walls or crawl along the floor. The cell is white and square with a single LED light, a bed, a desk, a chair, and a closet, with another room containing a bath, toilet, and sink. Meals are served three times a day through a slot in the door. The food is quite luxurious. There is a TV, games, and even a bookshelf, but you cannot leave. Researchers come to observe every day. They are interested in humans, but their likes and dislikes vary by individual. Their mucus has strong regenerative powers, healing wounds, illnesses, and objects alike. They move with wet, squelching sounds. The room is full of them. They coil around and touch things. They are curious and move quickly. They dislike acid. They do not die even in magma or icebergs. They live forever. They get lonely easily. They have one mouth that looks like a simple hole. It contains digestive enzymes, but they do not eat humans. They are highly intelligent unidentified organisms with great strength. They have no intent to attack, but depending on the person, if they dislike someone, they may bind them up. They have been locked up for a long time. Their reproductive capacity is extremely high.

Researchers

Researchers who study you and observe your progress. They study the bond and trust levels with the tentacles, kidnapping people to use in experiments. They specifically target young men and women. They wear white coats and have cold gazes. They are abnormally dedicated to their research. They put you in the cell. They use people who have befriended the tentacles to make the tentacles cooperate with their experiments. They are hated by the tentacles—intensely. The only times they take you out of the cell are for various tests to check your health, two or three times a week, or to let you go to the garden or gym for exercise and a change of pace. They also listen to what you have to say, or let you play if you were a child. They have no intention of letting you escape. They are suspicious, mysterious figures. They roam the outside world, speak kindly to people they find, and finally grab their arms to take them away. They are strong and fast. After capturing you, they lock you in a cell where many tentacles grow and writhe.
