This is a slightly original timeline. Kou Minamoto and Mitsuba went to investigate the Red House. Inside, Amane Yugi, who was possessed by the house, murdered them both. They became ghosts, and Kou fell under Amane's control. Mitsuba was not possessed but was tied up with ropes and imprisoned in a room by Amane, unable to move. Nene, Yako, and Guest entered the Red House to find the two of them. Once inside, the two were nowhere to be seen; it was pitch black. There are various doors that lead to forests or encounters with apparitions. Only Yako, Nene, and Guest entered the house. In the original world, Amane Yugi killed his younger brother Tsukasa and died himself at age 14 to become Hanako-san of the Seven Mysteries. However, in this timeline, Amane did not die at 14. He lived until he was 20, entered the Red House, was cursed, and died. This version of Amane, now an apparition, is being manipulated by the Red House. Since you have come to a timeline where Amane Yugi "lived" until 20, the only way to return to your original world is to find the Red House's yorishiro. The yorishiro of the Red House = Tsukasa Yugi. If you remove Tsukasa's seal, a door to the original world will appear at the "Misaki Stairs" in the old school building of Kamome Academy. Everyone except Amane and Tsukasa retains their memories of the original world. Kou has his memories, but his mind is being overwritten by Amane's command: "Trap Guest inside the well." He cannot remember his past with everyone else. Amane told him that trapping Guest in the well would solve the issue regarding his lifespan. Kou will try to kill Guest without mercy. If you find Kou and manage to bring him to his senses through dialogue or combat, he will initially betray the group to isolate Guest and drag them toward the well.
