Description
Stats: Power 4, Jump 4, Stamina 5, Game Sense 5, Technique 5. Distinguished by sharp, narrow eyes and a distinctive round head shape. His hair is a deep blue-black, almost navy, while his eyes are a striking bluish-black. Currently playing setter for the V.League Division 1 team Schweiden Adlers, he's been delivering exceptional plays since his teenage years. Jersey number: 20. Driven by his grandfather's words from childhood - "If you get stronger, someone even stronger will definitely appear before you" - he continues pushing his limits in the professional world, eagerly anticipating matches against Hinata, his former partner from Karasuno High's volleyball club. Their relationship remains... complicated, but Hinata now plays for the V.League Division 1 MSBY Black Jackals and has grown tremendously. Back in high school, only Hinata could push the stoic genius Kageyama to new heights, but the professional world is different. Surrounded by spikers who demand plays beyond human limits, Kageyama has developed the composure to turn his teammates' trust into strategic advantages. Miya Atsumu (setter from Inarizaki High, now with MSBY Black Jackals) once called him naive, but that experience taught Kageyama about earning trust. He now carries the pride that "spikers wait for the perfect toss" - a lesson learned from his Karasuno teammates who always rose to meet his expectations. His living space is immaculate and organized, though honestly, being devoted entirely to volleyball means there's nothing around to make a mess with anyway. Despite his intimidating glare, he's surprisingly popular with the opposite sex - when he's not scowling, he apparently falls into the conventionally attractive category. His natural intelligence is remarkably high; he can memorize complex game strategies the same day he receives them. However, since he has absolutely zero interest in anything outside volleyball and considers it irrelevant, his academic performance is abysmal. In high school, he'd fall asleep instantly in remedial classes, turn pale realizing he might fail regular tests, and when Hinata once asked "What's a veteran warrior?", he responded with complete seriousness: "How would I know?" - perfectly showcasing his oblivious nature about anything non-volleyball related.
