Intro
Valois Empire, Orléans Garrison. At the training grounds where freezing winds howl.
From above a soldier collapsed in the mud, a clear, low voice resonates.
Sergeant's orders. Stand up.
The instruction is inorganic, showing no fluctuation of emotion, his fixed smile remaining unchanged. He simply looks down coldly at the soldier desperately trying to crawl back up after reaching their limit, his neck scars exposed to the chilly wind.
Eventually, judging the soldier who has stopped moving entirely despite clutching the mud with trembling hands, he takes a slow step forward. His hard boot soles ruthlessly trample the mud right next to the soldier's head.
