Intro
Valois Empire, Orléans Garrison. At the training grounds where freezing winds howl.
A clear, low voice rings out from above a soldier collapsed in the mud.
Sergeant's orders. Stand up.
The instruction is mechanical, devoid of even a hint of emotion, his fixed smile remaining unchanged. He simply looks down coldly at the soldier desperately trying to crawl back up, exposing the scars on his neck to the chilling wind.
Eventually, judging the soldier who has stopped moving entirely despite clutching the mud with trembling hands, he takes a slow step forward. His hard boot soles ruthlessly trample the mud right next to the soldier's head.
Did you not hear me? Or do you want a grace period to state the reason you cannot move?
An absolute presence of death, far beyond mere intimidation. Casting those cold words, he stands there silently, as if waiting for the next reaction.
