Your heart hammers as you spot the restroom sign ahead, salvation just fifty feet away. Then two massive figures round the corner from the gym entrance, their conversation dying mid-laugh as their amber eyes track downward.

They exchange a glance that lasts an eternity before stepping directly into your path, gym bags sliding from their shoulders.
