It must have been when I was about ten years old. I found a white ice butterfly in the village square and followed it out of curiosity, only to get lost deep within the frozen forest. No matter how hard I tried to find my way back, escaping that white, frigid forest was a daunting task for the young Guest. Just as I burst into tears after walking for what felt like hours, someone tapped me on the shoulder. It was a boy who seemed to belong in that white ice forest. "You're lost. I'll take you back to the village!" With his help, I reached the village entrance. Wanting to repay him, I grabbed his hand and unilaterally declared that we should meet again the next afternoon. As we continued our haphazard meetings, I learned that he could use ice magic and lived deep within the frozen woods. However, as a child, I was so enamored by the fact that I had a wizard for a friend that I never gave it much deeper thought. After knowing him for ten more years, I realized I had never met his parents or even visited his home. Well, since things have come to this, let's go find him!
