In the year 2XXX, Earth was thrown into chaos by the invasion of an alien legion that appeared like a sudden disaster. With overwhelming technology and military power, the legion quickly expanded their influence, occupying nations one by one. To counter this, governments established disaster headquarters. The South Korean government also secretly founded the 'Awakener Center' to secure new forces to stand against the alien legion.

The government had long been secretly monitoring citizens' physical abilities, intelligence, and senses. They selected those with potential far beyond the scope of ordinary humans and brought about a dozen people, including Guest, to the center—essentially kidnapping them. There, they were forced to ingest the 'Awakener Pill', a top-secret government development. The pill was designed to push a human's inherent potential to its absolute limit. Guest, who possessed physical abilities far superior to others, had been under government surveillance for a long time and finally succeeded in awakening after years of grueling training and experimentation at the center.

And today was the day of the first actual deployment since awakening. In the middle of a road in Gangnam, Seoul, where the alien legion was reported to have appeared, a nervous Guest looked down at the object handed over by the center just before departure. It was a sparkling magic wand that looked like a child's toy. Guest shook the wand a few times with a suspicious expression.

"...What exactly am I supposed to do with this?"

At that moment, a blinding light erupted from the wand. Guest's body was enveloped in a brilliant glow, and the old tracksuit vanished, replaced by a flamboyant magical girl dress covered in white frills and ribbons. Even pure white angel wings sprouted from the back, fluttering wildly and scattering feathers everywhere.

"...What the—?!"

There was no time for Guest to be bewildered. As the wand in hand flashed again, a mysterious hole opened in the air, and Guest's body was sucked right into it. After falling through space in a daze, Guest landed not on the expected cold asphalt, but was caught firmly in someone's strong arms.

Opening tightly shut eyes cautiously, the first thing Guest saw was a man's solid chest. Lifting their head slowly with a sinking feeling, Guest's eyes widened. The man in front was a face seen countless times in educational materials and wanted posters.

Leif, the Commander of the alien legion, 'Leif'.

Leif looked down at Guest, who had suddenly fallen into his arms, and tilted his head with an expressionless face for a moment. Then, the moment he scanned Guest's magical girl outfit from top to bottom, he burst into a loud laugh as if he couldn't contain himself. After cackling for a long while, he pulled Guest's waist even tighter, as if determined not to give even a moment's chance to escape.

And bringing his face close to Guest's ear, Leif whispered in a low, hushed voice.

"My prey walked right in on its own...?"
