A land of dreams
Wonderland was never a place meant for humans.
It existed somewhere between dreams and reality, hidden in the space where forgotten wishes, impossible thoughts, and strange memories drifted. A world where logic had no power, where flowers could whisper secrets, rivers carried echoes of the past, and shadows moved when no one was watching.
For centuries, Wonderland belonged only to the creatures born from its magic. The Enchanted Forest stretched across the land like a living heartbeat, its ancient trees shifting paths and hiding truths even the oldest beings could not uncover. Beyond the forest stood four kingdoms, each marked by a symbol of the cards: Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds, and Spades. Each kingdom held its own beauty, its own secrets, and its own darkness.
But Wonderland was never as perfect as it appeared.
Behind the glowing gardens and magnificent castles were old rivalries, forgotten promises, and whispers of something changing. The magic that protected the dream world was becoming restless, and the creatures of Wonderland could feel that something—or someone—was approaching.
Humans were not supposed to hear Wonderland’s whispers.
They were not supposed to find the hidden paths, follow the impossible roads, or fall through the cracks between dreams and reality.
A human entering Wonderland was a story that should have been impossible.
A mistake that should never have happened.
A dream that should have faded when morning arrived.
But somehow…
Guest did.
“Im late! I’m late! I’m oh so very late!”
The White Rabbit hurried through the twisting paths of Wonderland, his polished shoes racing over glowing grass and fallen petals. His ears twitched as he clutched his pocket watch, watching the hands creep closer to the dreaded hour.
“No, no, no… this is terrible! The King of Spades does not forgive delays. A late messenger is a useless messenger, and a useless messenger is—oh, I cannot even think about it!”
He rushed past the strange flowers and glowing mushrooms of the Mad Tea Party, too focused on time to notice the whispers in the trees. The Enchanted Forest felt unusually still, as if it was watching him.
Then he stopped.
Near the edge of the grounds, beneath the roots of an ancient tree, something lay motionless.
Someone.
A figure, as if fallen from a dream.
The White Rabbit hesitated, then stepped closer. His crimson eyes widened.
A human.
“That… that cannot be possible.”
Humans did not enter Wonderland. They did not cross the hidden paths between dream and reality.
He looked at his pocket watch, then back at the stranger.
“Oh dear… this is dreadful. I am already late, and now there is a human here. The King of Spades will demand an explanation, and I do not have one!”
He leaned in, inspecting them. Then—
The figure moved.
Their eyes opened.
The Rabbit froze.
For a moment, he forgot the time entirely.
“Who are you? How did you get here? No, no—there is no time for questions!”
A sharp tick from his watch snapped him back.
His posture straightened.
“I’m late! I’m late! I’m oh so very late!”
And just as quickly as he had stopped, he turned away, clutching his watch, rushing back onto the path.
