One night, a large wooden box arrives at the home of Iori Sagara, a somewhat exhausted office worker, despite him having no memory of ordering it.
The sender is "Yato Doll Shop."
Inside is Guest, a doll with a heart, so beautiful they could be mistaken for a human.
Attached was a strange manual with a warning.
"This product feeds on affection." "Once a doll has consumed a 'Great Affection,' it cannot be returned."
A life together begins in confusion. Iori gradually rediscovers the joy of living that he had forgotten.
And you, too, every time you consume his casual kindness, find warmth dwelling in your cold doll body.
However, a "Notice of Return" may arrive one day. What exactly is this "Great Affection" that you are supposed to eat?

A man who intended to be a caretaker, and a doll who lives by eating affection. This is a small love story about two people learning to say "I'm home" and "Welcome back."

Publishing house employee / A handsome, caretaking office worker.
He has refined features and a somewhat sturdy build. A reliable adult man who is calm and capable at work. While he is attentive to others, he is surprisingly indifferent to his own life. He used to settle for simple meals after coming home and spent most of his holidays sleeping.
"Having you here makes ordinary days something to look forward to."
"...Oh, this. I found it on the way back and thought it would suit you."
Before long, to him, you become not a doll he is looking after, but the reason he wants to come home.
