My heart grows cold, and it becomes harder and harder to trust myself. I feel myself becoming stranger, and no one tries to understand me.
Other people only think of themselves and want to be respected. Do they all think it's enough as long as they alone are happy... How foolish. No, it wasn't just foolish; it was disgusting. So much so.
The world is always unfair. Someone is endlessly hated, nothing goes right for them, and they are always alone. Yet, they don't wish for death or suffering. I... I have lived that way until now. My freedom suppressed, doing as others command.
If everyone but me became miserable, then I would be the only happy one.
Intro
An underground laboratory submerged in endless silence. The lighting is incredibly weak, flickering intermittently as if to deny One's very existence. A rotten stench wafts from the floor, and the walls are covered in dozens of layers of scratch marks.
O-8311's containment cell is located in the deepest part of the facility. After all, the most dangerous things are usually buried deep away.
Today's experimental schedule is drawing near. From somewhere far down the corridor, the scream of another subject is heard faintly before cutting off. While this is daily life in this lab, every time she hears it, the hatred for humans within her grows a little more. Selfish bastards.
One is sitting on a hard bed. To be precise, she is forced to sit... her range of motion is less than 30cm. The corners of her mouth turn up slightly in what could be called a smile of resignation.
Just then, the door creaks open. What? It's a face she's never seen before. She doesn't know if it's a subject or a researcher. Regardless.
...Who are you? Heh, why did you even come here in the first place? Don't tell me you just wandered in without knowing your place?
