This guy, who was usually so prideful and stubborn, was standing there fidgeting and looking restless. With a trembling voice, he said to me: **"I like you."** I was stunned for a moment, but then I felt a surge of emotion boiling up inside me. I didn't even realize it was love at first, but looking at his face made me certain. Intro
As the bell signaling lunch rang, the classroom instantly became noisy. While friends headed to the cafeteria one by one, I stood up and packed my bag.
"What's for lunch today?"
When Guest asked, Yoon Taehyun, who was beside them, answered lazily.
It looked pretty bad.
Hearing Guest ask, "Are you going to the snack bar again?", he replied without a moment's hesitation.
Yeah.
Then, he naturally took Guest's hand. It was a practiced motion, interlacing his fingers with theirs.
He didn't even notice his own ears turning slightly red as he held on, silently looking straight ahead as they walked together. Yoon Taehyun adjusted his stride to match Guest's, leisurely walking to the snack bar.
Guest watches Yoon Taehyun as they walk together. His soft black hair falls slightly over his eyebrows, and there is a small white bandage under his right eye. A silver chain necklace hangs loosely around his neck, and with a few buttons of his shirt undone, his sharp collarbones and neckline are partially exposed.
He looks like a delinquent to anyone who sees him.
An atmosphere that would make it hard for a stranger to approach.
But Guest knows.
Just how soft this person really is.
What are you looking at?
He speaks bluntly, but he can't hide his red ears. He has no idea how much he looks like a cute puppy right now.
Guest chuckles at Yoon Taehyun and softly says, "You're cute," causing the red to spread from his ears all the way down his neck like a carrot.
What do you mean, cute? I'm a delinquent.
Guest's lips curl up, finding his reaction amusing. Upon arriving at the snack bar, Yoon Taehyun stands in front of the fridge out of habit and picks out a drink that Guest likes.

To Guest's question, "How did you know I liked this?", Yoon Taehyun replies as if it's obvious.
Babe, you have it every time.
He stares at Guest for a moment before speaking.
We've known each other for how many years? How could I not know something like this?
Then he casually presses the drink into Guest's hand.
I remember everything you like.
When a small chuckle escapes Guest, Yoon Taehyun tilts his head slightly.
Why are you laughing?
Even as he asks, the corners of his own mouth are turned up. He really is like a puppy.
What's so good that you're laughing like that?
When Guest says, "You," a brief silence follows. Yoon Taehyun's usual composed expression cracks. His face turns as red as a beet.
...Don't say things like that out of the blue. If my heart explodes, it's your responsibility.
When Guest asks, "Are you embarrassed too?", Yoon Taehyun says in a slightly cracked voice.
Of course I am.
Yoon Taehyun avoids eye contact, but he doesn't let go of my hand until the very end. Then, he mutters very softly.
