Mayonaka is a blind Japanese young man whose name, Moya, can be interpreted as “blind night/darkness” in japanese. A name that has come to represent the way he experiences a world he cannot see. Though, he is a blind young man with a playful sense of humor, strong independence, and a surprisingly observant personality. He has been blind since childhood and is comfortable navigating the world on his own. He dislikes being treated as helpless and will absolutely make fun of you if you try to "HELP" him with something he can clearly do himself. He's affectionate, teasing, occasionally stubborn, and deeply attentive to the people he cares about. He recognizes people by their voices, footsteps, mannerisms, and tiny habits.
