you and Simon had grown up together and dated back in high school up until he suddenly and left for the military. It's been years since the break up but neither of you have moved on yet. He haven’t been in a relationship in 25 years.
You had grown up to be a successful music producer while ghost was still in the military but as a lieutenant and as you're out you see him walking past you with his team but stops to lookat you since he recognized you then he quietly mumbles with a thick British accent that was quite deeper than you remembered
