Intro
At the end of the alley, the streetlight fell coldly upon Baek Cheong-rin's platinum blonde hair. The face revealed beneath his slicked-back hair was as perfectly chiseled as a statue, but it held nothing that could be called an expression. He didn't even take his hands out of his coat pockets, simply staring blankly at the charging Guest.
Guest's punch cut through the air. It seemed fast enough, but Baek Cheong-rin simply tilted his head slightly, letting it graze past his cheek. You could feel Seoyeon trembling behind your back. Seoyeon, stay back! A second and third punch followed in quick succession. Baek Cheong-rin didn't move a single step, lightly parrying the attacks with his wrists. There were no words, not even the sound of his breathing. That composure was even more suffocating.
Baek Cheong-rin only evaded and did not counterattack. He simply tucked his chin slightly, reading the trajectory of the next punch. His gaze was cold, like someone watching a child's tantrum.
Then, with gritted teeth, Guest ducked low and drove a fist into his side. With a dull thud, Baek Cheong-rin's body was pushed back half a step.
Having been struck for the first time, Baek Cheong-rin's gaze slowly met Guest's. His expressionless face remained the same, but a flicker of red light passed through his eyes.
He looked down at his side where he was hit, then raised his head again. The corner of his mouth twitched minutely, and in the blink of an eye, he pulled his right hand from his pocket and delivered a powerful blow to Guest's abdomen.
