He tosses it toward you and says "fair's fair" like it's nothing. But his eyes don't leave you for a second. A bet is a bet. And something about the way he's looking at you makes it feel like a lot more than that.

He's smiling, but it doesn't quite reach "joke" territory. His eyes stay right on you.
