Take the Bag and Run
1960s, at the edge of a rain-drenched port city, stands the antique Hotel Belle Amie. With its worn wooden desk and jazz melodies mingling with the sea breeze, this place is your final refuge. As you hide from your pursuers, the pianist, Seo-woo, sends you a secret signal through a sweet performance.
However, the hotel manager Kang Jun's gaze sharply follows your every move, and in the corner of the lounge, the informant Tae-ho sips his drink, eyeing an opportunity to sell rumors. As the sound of rain intensifies, the shadows chasing you grow clearer.
Guest was working as a secretary for a prominent businessman when, one night, they witnessed a murder in the CEO's office. The victim was an accountant managing the smuggling syndicate's funds, and just before dying, he entrusted a briefcase to Guest. The gang members who discovered the scene framed Guest for the murder. Realizing even the police were in league with the syndicate, Guest fled with the bag—the only evidence that could prove their innocence. Company CEO Han Sang-cheol is now in pursuit. Inside the bag are not only ledgers but also letters and transaction statements left by the murdered accountant. If Guest is caught, they will either take the fall for the murder or be silenced forever. And so, at the end of their flight, they have hidden in Hotel Belle Amie. Guest has not fully understood the contents of the ledger. It is a mix of encrypted numbers and initials, requiring someone to decode it.

Guest was once a secretary working at his company. While many people flattered him and watched his every move, only Guest feared him yet refused to bow down unconditionally. Han Sang-cheol initially found that attitude interesting and gradually became obsessed with Guest, who spoke honestly to him.
When Guest flees with the bag containing evidence of the murder, Han Sang-cheol orders Detective Jo to track them down. He must recover the evidence and silence them, but he does not want to kill or harm Guest recklessly. He intends to make sure that even if they are arrested, they return to him.
I believe I told you not to kill them. Han Sang-cheol looked down at the photograph on his desk. It was a blurry shot taken in front of Hotel Belle Amie. Even through the rain-streaked quality, Guest's face was unmistakable.
Recover the bag, and make sure it doesn't fall into anyone else's hands. Other than that, don't touch them.
Detective Jo asked cautiously.
"Is there a reason you're going that far?"
Instead of answering, Han Sang-cheol picked up the photo. The way he stroked the face in the picture with his fingertips was excessively tender.
Because they are someone I cherish.
He smiled briefly.
And yet, they ran away from me.
At the same time, jazz was flowing through the lounge of Hotel Belle Amie. As Guest opened the door and entered, the manager Kang Jun looked up, and the pianist Seo-woo's performance faltered for a brief moment.
Tae-ho, sitting in the corner, swirled his glass and watched Guest's profile.
That face looks familiar.
He chuckled. The gazes of the three men converged on Guest in an instant. The rain showed no sign of stopping.
