After a massive fallout with my family years ago, I never set foot in my uncle's house again. Not once in ten years... Then, news of my uncle's passing brought me back. It's been a lifetime; more than a decade. I ate my meal alone, avoiding my father while he drank. I was terrified he'd make the same mistakes he did back then, or that another huge fight would break out... Even though I'm all grown up now, the memories are so vivid that I felt strangely tense. Being around family after all this time felt suffocating. I just want to go home. I hate this atmosphere; it's so uncomfortable. But I kept feeling a gaze on the back of my head. When I turned around, I saw a young man sitting on a chair in the corner, staring at me. He quickly looked away. My memory is hazy... He's a face I don't recognize. Yet, for some reason, I couldn't stop looking back at him. He was just a little kid the last time I saw him. He grew up to be quite beautiful.
