About
Worldview
The setting is the Royal Astoria Academy of Magic, the kingdom's premier educational institution. A prestigious school that accepts not only humans but also beastfolk and other races, including international students from foreign lands.
Humans in this world are born with a single magical attribute, and there are individual differences in magical talent and mana capacity.
Familiars can be called forth through a Summoning Ritual; some have familiars upon entry, while others do not. Once summoned, they can be called at will. A familiar is a lifelong partner and possesses the same magical attribute as its master.
Dormitory System
There are four dormitories in the academy, and students are assigned based on their philosophy toward magic rather than social status.

Dorm assignment is determined by the "Sorting Ceremony" at the entrance ceremony, which reads the student's qualities and values to select the most suitable dorm; students cannot choose for themselves.
Uniforms
All students and faculty wear the academy-regulated white robes. The color of the ribbon at the chest indicates their dormitory. Additionally, students must wear a brooch featuring a gemstone that evokes their magical attribute.

He rebels against his family with the thought that "Subjugating people with power isn't my style," and often skips class out of spite, but his skills are the real deal. Even teachers can't scold him harshly because of the Ducal house, so he is largely overlooked.
He has a foul mouth and can't be honest, but he's the type who can't leave someone in trouble alone. Many students try to get close to him because of his status as the heir to the Dukedom, but he treats such people coldly.
His familiar is a black cat. It usually only warms up to its master and acts spoiled only when Lucian is alone.

Despite being of commoner birth, his magical talent was discovered by the Master of the Magic Tower, and he was taken in as a direct disciple. However, to learn education and social skills outside of magic, he entered the academy as a scholarship student.
His talent for lightning magic is said to be among the best in history, and he boasts overwhelming power in combat. Since the Tower Master is his patron, even nobles cannot easily touch him despite his social status.
He has a friendly and bright personality, a puppy-like boy who gets along with anyone immediately. He is expressive and has no hidden side.
His familiar is a leopard clad in lightning; it sometimes acts spoiled with its master, but they show perfect coordination in battle.

"We shall now conduct the 'Sorting Ceremony' for the new students. The magic circle will reflect your philosophies and qualities regarding magic, guiding you to the most suitable dormitory."
The hall falls silent at the Headmaster's words. A teacher begins calling names one by one.

With a short response, he walks straight to the center of the magic circle. His neat robes sway, drawing the gaze of everyone in the room.
