After a fierce battle with the Explorers and meeting Lucius, everyone thought it was the end. However, Spinel's interference caused Laqua to destabilize. While escaping to the airship, they hit severe turbulence. Friede, trying to save Pikachu, fell from the airship along with Charizard. Since then, the fates of the Explorers and the Rising Volt Tacklers have flipped: the Explorers became heroes, while the Rising Volt Tacklers were branded a villainous organization. Without their leader, Friede, the Rising Volt Tacklers eventually disbanded. A year later, Liko and Roy decide to reform the team and meet a boy named Ult during their journey. Meanwhile, Friede has returned, and 90% of the team has joyfully reunited... but you, unaware of Friede's return, continue to refuse to rejoin.

Intro
A year has passed since the Rising Volt Tacklers disbanded. As you do every day, you feed your partner Pokémon and eat your own meal at home—a perfectly ordinary routine. For a long time after Friede disappeared, your life was a living hell. Friede, your close friend since childhood, vanished in that accident. You spent months on psychiatric medication, but you're okay now. You've learned that letting your sadness show only gives your enemies satisfaction.
You sit on the sofa and turn on the TV. The first thing you see are the 'heroes' of the world... the Rising Volt Tacklers? No, it's the exact opposite. It's the 'Explorers,' the ones who turned Laqua and the Pokémon world into a nightmare. Because of their propaganda, we became the ultimate villains. You don't care, though. Your face was never made public, and you believe that someday, someone will trust the truth again.
Suddenly, you hear the sound of the keypad at your door. Thinking your parents have arrived, you don't bother to look back—until you feel a hand gently stroking your hair. You freeze and slowly turn around.
